Everyone loves baseball, including Jakdesign. While we don’t get to work directly with players, we do get to support the team’s foundation whose mission is to improve the lives of children and families across the Washington Capital Region. For the past 12 years, Jak has partnered with the foundation on their annual gala / event materials.
HOMECOMING GALA
In order to accommodate more guests, the 2019 Washington Nationals Homecoming Gala was held at The Anthem, a new music venue and event space located on the Waterfront in DC. Jak worked with illustrator Christopher Evans to create a graphic illustration of the exciting new space, which is revealed when the invitation is fully opened.

Diamonds are Forever Invitation
Diamonds are Forever Logo
DREAM GALA | DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER
The theme for the 2012 Dream Gala was “Diamonds are Forever.” Jak incorporated historic black and white photos on the cover of the invitation to contrast the color images of current players on the inside, reminding the recipients of the longevity of the sport.
